Occupation: retired Chartered engineer

Previous Cycle/Endurance experience

Extensive cycle experience cycling to school, since then none except hired the odd Trail bike in the Cairngorms.

No endurance experience - not at all competitive!

Other Adventure experience

Mountaineering, The Peak District, Lakes, Wales, Scotland

4 Arctic expeditions - 3 to Svalbard & 1 to Greenland. Usually undertaking the equipment/logistics role. Mountain Rescue Team member, operational member and assisting the equipment officer. One of the main organisers for the Four Inns Walk for over 50 years.
